Six months ago, I left Québec to finish my degree abroad, more specifically, in Scotland. Now, reading week is almost here and I need some air, so I’m off to the woods. Literally. I’ll be walking the Great Glen Way with my syestra. It’s roughly 122k between Fort William and Inverness in the Highlands. Hopefully, the weather will be nice… but probably not. Oh well, we are strong Québécoises who know how to endure cold and rain and wind and snow. We will keep you posted on our trip here, to prove that we have survived every day’s walk 😉 . Until then, take care friends
Cheers
PS: Never walk in the wilderness without a plan! Be safe, have maps, compass, GPS, survival bag, plenty of water and a way to contact civilization in case you need it!

Suzanne,
You are on your amazing journey. Been awhile since met in Quebec. Sounds like you love Ireland. Have you ever gotten to my old home Scotland? Stay well!

Hello Ron,
I am in Scotland right now! I am studying in Stirling for the year, that’s why I want to go explore the Highlands before I come back to Canada. Has it been a while since you were here? Which part of Scotland are you from? I stayed in Inveraray for a few days and visited the area – it’s absolutely gorgeous! I like Glasgow and Edinburgh, but it’s the wilderness I love most here, and Dumyat! 🙂 Are you in Quebec often for conferences? I wish you a marvelous year 2017! Cheers
